The Honda HGO-1 hypoid gear oil (GL-5 75W-85) is a high performance fluid made from premium components. It is specially for the transfer case of the Honda Crosstour, Pilot and Ridgeline. The Honda HGO-1 was designed to meet the now abandoned API GL-6 classification. GL-6 was an extreme gear oil classification that was largely used for the racing applications or severe service involving high-offset hypoid gears.
